Our Story
Bears Get Crafty designer & owner, Jools Wilson, started making paper buildings for her local Young Archaeologists group.

She mostly designs models with an archaeology or history theme, and began selling them as downloads to print and make at home. After being approached by the British Museum to retail two of her designs alongside the 'World of Stonehenge' exhibition in 2021, she decided to take the plunge and wholesale the model kits. Bears
Get Crafty paper model kits are now on sale in museum
shops in England, Scotland and Wales.
Work has now started on natural history themed and postable collections, and a selection of new greetings cards are planned for the future.
Our Products
All Bears Get Crafty products
are designed, tested, printed, created, packaged and posted in the UK!

Our paper models are made of uncoated paper, which has a lovely, natural feel, and are printed with vegetable-base inks making them fully recyclable.
We use eco - friendly cello bags which are made from corn, beet or other sources and can be industrially composted.
We are always looking for greener alternatives to the packaging we use. To make sure our postal packaging is as environmentally friendly as possible we avoid buying packing material containing plastic and reuse everything that comes our way. If something you receive from us is wrapped in plastic bubblewrap you can be sure it's on it's second use at least!
